Jean Jacques Bordeaux (ジャン・ジャック・ボルドー), also known as Boldo, is a character in the Dance Dance Revolution series.

Introduction[]

Boldo was introduced in Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX alongside Tracy as playable characters until Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4 where he is partnered with Lady.

Backstory[]

Runs an advertising company. His weekdays are full of hard work.

Character and Personality[]

Unlike Disco who is a funky, happy and a smooth fellow, Boldo is described as being serious, confident and a workaholic person. As a final boss during Quest Mode in Ultramix 4 after the player beats Lady, he also shows his pride in getting the title reign as a Dance Master and always open to challenge the player for the dance battle.

Like Disco, Boldo is initally portrayed as an advertising manager from his advertising company and he has full of hard work without sleep almost everyday. Later in Ultramix 4, he becomes the former Dance Master in Dance Dance Tower which he is open to challenge the player to get his/her title reign as a Dance Master.

Appearance[]

Like Disco, Boldo has short purple hair in a style of afro and wears white and black sunglasses.

Trivia[]

  • He and Disco share the same hobbies of Fishing.
  • In his debut appearance in Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX up to EXTREME 2/STRIKE! He is partnered with Tracy but in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4, he is partnered with Disco's former partner, Lady.
  • He alongside Tracy, Disco and Lady also appears in Tina Arena's music video, "Dare You to be Happy" where one of Tina's friends who plays Boldo facing off against an Asian woman who plays Tracy as they play DDR 3rdMIX. Tina is last seen is about to play the game by showing her token to her friends after selling her diamond bracelet for several tokens as her high-heeled boots is finally shown ready to play the dance game.
