Dance Dance Revolution S+

Dance Dance Revolution S+ is a rhythm video game developed and published by Konami and released for Mobile Phones on October 5, 2009 in Japan. It is the sequel of Dance Dance Revolution S. As of September 10, 2015, the game was officially discontinued by Konami.

General Information / Changes[]

Sequel to Dance Dance Revolution S. Unlike S, S+ only has 3 default songs; every other song is downloadable content.
- COURSE MODE from the original S was not retained and was replaced with ENDLESS MODE.
- Much like in the original S, no songs have CHALLENGE charts, even those that had them originally.
- Like in the original S, MARVELOUS and PERFECT are worth the same amount of score.
Menu backgrounds change depending on the time of the day.
On August 5th, 2010, a special Ultimate Starter "150 Songs" Pack was added to the app store as a starter pack. The pack includes every KONAMI original song that was released in other packs.
Song packs from Summer Paradise to DDR X Mega Hit Pack, along with the licensed packs are no longer available to download as of 2015.
ALICE, EMI, YUNI, and QUEEN-ZUKIN are the only characters with unlockable recolors.
As of September 10th, 2015, Dance Dance Revolution S+ has been officially discontinued by KONAMI.
