Dread Snake (ドレッド・スネーク, Doreddo Sunēku) or Dread (ドレッド, Doreddo) is a character in the Dance Dance Revolution series.
Introduction[]
Dread is a character who appeared in Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMIX alongside his partner, Janet until Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3. He later reappears alongside Janet in the remake version of 2ndMIX of Dance Dance Revolution X3 VS 2ndMIX.

Appearance[]
Dread has long brown dreads (hence his name) that appears very similarly to B's from Ultramix 4, wears brown sunglasses, a dark gray fishnet top, pants with a snake pattern (also his name), and brown shoes.
In DDR GB, Dread is seen wearing a white fishnet top and pants instead.

- Dread resembles the real life singer, Stevie Wonder.
- His hairstyle also resembles Knuckles the Echidna from Sonic the Hedgehog series of games.
- He is the first British character of the series followed by Spike in Dance Dance Revolution 5thMIX.
- He shares same last name with Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series (a game franchise also from Konami).
- Dread's "charm point" is his glasses and his shirt.[1]
- He was originally going to be in DDR 4thMIX (possibly as a playable character), but then he was eventually scrapped and was never added in the final version.
