Emi appears as the young girl with shoulder-length blue hair styled in a short bob along with fringes and is mostly seen wearing a white hat with different color lines at the edge of her hat and brown eyes.
Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX-Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME 2/STRIKE!
In 3rdMIX up to DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE!, she wears a light blue short jacket under an orange and red turtleneck shirt, blue pants and leather brown shoes.
Her alternate costume as her team Emi-Style is a white and yellow tank top, black jogging pants with white linings and white and yellow shoes, the other maintains the same outfit as her jogging pants changed from black to red. When choosing her alternate version and her own team her height is lengthen despite her normal height is 5'0".
In DDR EXTREME 2/STRIKE!, her alternate appearance is her 3rdMIX outfit as her short jacket changes to yellow and her turtleneck shirt changes to a different shades of blue stripes and the edge of her white hat becomes pink identical to her hat in 5thMIX but maintains her pants and shoes in her original outfit.
Dance Dance Revolution 4thMIX-Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2
In 4thMIX up to Ultramix 2, she wears a golden yellow and white checkered shirt with a white ribbon in the collar of her shirt, dark blue pants which is folded below her ankles and maintains her leather brown shoes. In 4thMIX, she was seen without her white hat randomly when you chose her to show off her fringes within her short styled bob. In Ultramix 2 due to the change of different animation graphics, her dark blue pants in her 4thMIX outfit has minor changes as her pants changes it's color to blue and the folded sleeves of her pants is pale blue.
In the trailer of Ultramix and Ultramix 2, she wears an altered torn up version of her 4thMIX outfit as her checkered shirt becomes a sleeveless checkered top, her pants changed to blue denim short shorts which folded below her thighs and two triangular holes in both sides of her shorts and brown knee-high length heeled boots. Her white hat that she wears is her 5thMIX appearance. Her 4thMIX outfit is playable in DDR Party Collection either with or without a hat with different facial expressions. She also has an unpublished appearance as one of her playable characters, depicted her with the same length but not styled in a bob but the bangs are parted on the right side.
Dance Dance Revolution 5thMIX-Dance Dance Revolution FESTIVAL
In 5thMIX up to DDR FESTIVAL, she wears a different shades of blue hoodie jacket under a white short sleeved undershirt, yellow jogging pants with dark blue cross lines in both of her pants and white and pink sneakers. She also wears a pink necklace with her cellphone as her pendant.
Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3-Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE
In Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 and Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE, She was seen wearing her school uniform coming from the Be For U's song Graduation, 4thMIX's promotional art and 5thMIX gallery. She wears a sleeveless yellow sweater under a white long sleeve button shirt with an orange laced ribbon on the collar, gray school skirt, white socks and brown dress shoes.
In Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE, Emi retains her primary outfit but her brown shoes is replaced with a yellow and orange sneakers with orange linings.

Emi has three outfits when she was chosen as her primary outfit is her school uniform.
Her second outfit is a white tank top with black singlets, green jeans and sneakers. She is accessorized with a blue neck tie on her neck,
Her third outfit is a brown cowboy vest under an orange long sleeve button shirt, denim skirt and brown boots.
Her fourth and last outfit was a blue sweater under a white long sleeved button shirt, white skirt with blue rims, blue socks and white sneakers with blue linings.
Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE 2
In DDR UNIVERSE 2, three of her outfits became her alternate appearance due to the change of colors of her outfits. But she gained a new third outfit.
The color of her primary outfit has minor changes, her sleeveless sweater changed from yellow to pink, her school skirt changed to magenta and the linings of her white sneakers changed to pink.
The color of her second outfit has minor changes, her white tank top changed to black and the singlet and thick line changed to green, her blue neck tie changed to yellow and orange zig zag linings, her green jeans changed to blue gray with faded designs and holes in her left thigh and her right leg and yellow and white sneakers.
Her third outfit is a dark blue overhauls under a black and cyan tube top, and blue sneakers with yellow linings.
The color of her fourth outfit has minor changes, her blue sweater changed to orange. The blue rims of her white skirt changed to orange, her socks also changed to orange and the linings of her white sneakers changed to red.
DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA-DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA2
Emi maintains her appearance in the previous games and she also has an alternate appearance replacing her white hat for a headband.
In SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA2, she wears a darker shades of blue and gray zippered hoodie jacket under a white short sleeved undershirt, blue pleated skirt, white knee-high socks and dark blue and white boots. In the beta testing in HOTTEST PARTY, her primary outfit becomes different shades of green and camouflage which later becomes Rena's primary outfit of the game.
As EMI 2 in SuperNOVA2, she wears a green and white polka dotted dress with a matching green belt to her waist, blue stockings and white shoes. She also wears an orange scarf on her neck and wears light green warmers. She is not seen wearing a white hat when she wears this outfit and she wears a matching light green headband.

In DDR X, Emi is not seen wearing her white hat anymore and has drastic changes on her appearance since her alternate appearance in SuperNOVA2.
She wears a strapless white and lighter shades of pink party dress, with a salmon pink ribbon at the left side of her dress, black gloves, and pink heels. Her hair has been tied in tangles with a black headband and a red rose on the left side of her head.
DanceDanceRevolution X2-DanceDanceRevolution V
In DDR X2 through DDR V, Emi is now seen wearing a pale blue sleeveless polka dotted hoodie jacket under a green and white sleeveless shirt, pink denim jeans with light pink polka dots on both legs on her pants and a matching white and green boots. She also wears a pale blue warmers on both of her arms and a black necklace on her neck.
In DDR A20, Emi's alternate appearance is her DDR X2 outfit but has minor changes and the color scheme resembling her second outfit in DDR UNIVERSE; her sleeveless hoodie jacket is now black, her sleeveless shirt is blue gray, her jeans are now dark blue and her arm warmers being indigo. She gains black suspenders in each sides similar to Alice's 5thMIX outfit and it is no longer have designs and her boots are now dark blue and white and black soles. Her jeans has a left single tuck on her boots while the other remains loose to show her other boot being covered to resemble sneakers.
