New York EVOLVED is one of the boss songs in Dance Dance Revolution (2010), along with CRAZY♥LOVE (and MAX 300 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions).
New York EVOLVED is Hiroyoshi Kato's only song of the "EVOLVED" song series.
New York EVOLVED's jacket in the Wii version of Dance Dance Revolution (2010) is different from that of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions'. The latter is also used in the arcade releases of Dance Dance Revolution and the jubeat series.
- The eyes used in the Wii version jacket of New York EVOLVED are also used in Shine's jacket. Unlike Shine's jacket though, the eyes in New York EVOLVED's jacket lack eyebrows.
New York EVOLVED's Type A, Type B, and Type C were known as Ver.A, Ver.B, and Ver.C respectively in Dance Dance Revolution (2010) and Dance Dance Revolution (PS3).
An unused Single CHALLENGE chart for New York EVOLVED Ver.B can be found in the Dance Dance Revolution (2010) data. While it seems to be merely a placeholder, as it consists entirely of left arrows, the rhythms are different compared to the final charts.
